About Jason

Jason founded SunCX from a desire to challenge traditional solutions in the financial services industry and to provide an actuarial consulting service that focuses on unlocking value. Jason saw an opportunity to combine multiple skillsets including actuarial, strategy and creativity to a problem solving approach.

Jason has 10+ years experience within the financial services industry across corporate and consulting roles. He is a trained actuary, with a specialisation in life insurance and wealth management. With a diverse skillset developed over time – his breadth of experience has included strategy consulting, market insights, investments analyst, financial advice operations, software implementation and personal injury law clerk.

As a person, Jason has a growth mindset and a logical & innovative nature. He has been described as personable and honest. He is grateful for his mentors and enjoys developing those who work with him. There is always an interesting conversation to have with Jason – ranging from business, market insights, 3D printing, family activities and even website design.
